"Warm hospitality, like home on the road"

Sanrinsha is a lovely cottage surrounded by nature, very serene and relaxing, yet everyone is so friendly. The vibe feels like the cottage was in a Studio Ghibli movie. The manager is so lovely, he was a wealth of information, not just for Takamori but travel tips for the rest of Fukuoka. Would road trip would have been so much better if we had met him earlier! He is a true gentleman and we loved staying here.

"Lovely!"

Super cosy guest house with incredible views of green gardens and Forrest all around. Best bath I’ve ever had, too! Our host was kind, friendly and helpful, and gave us lots of great information about where to eat and what to see in the area. We had a lovely evening chatting with him.

"Ein zeitloser Ort zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen!"

Fukutomi-san war ein wunderbarer Gastgeber! Er hat uns viele tolle Ausflüge, Unternehmungen und Empfehlungen für die Umgebung gegeben und war neben seiner tollen Gastfreundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft stets gut gelaunt und unglaublich freundlich! Wir haben zwei Tage in der Unterkunft Sanrinsha verbracht und es fiel uns schwer weiterzuziehen! Es ist ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. In der Nähe der Unterkunft befinden sich die Kurokawa-Onsen, Takachiho, tolle Tempel und Wanderungen. Allerdings braucht man auf jeden Fall ein Auto / einen Mietwagen!

Tucked away in the woods, very interesting interior and exterior. Tons of history and things to look at, and Satoru speaks some English and is very knowledgeable about many points of interest in Kumamoto, Kagoshima, and Miyazaki. (As well as many dinner recommendations for Aso). The private shower / bath area is great for hygiene but also gives a nice onsen experience for those with tattoos (like myself) 10/10 recommend , best booked if you have a car!
