Hiriketiya New Radiant House & Dorm Room

Location was great, just about 7 min from the beach. The owner is really friendly, he helped us to arrange transfer to the airport. Western breakfast is included and it’s perfect option for a day or two.

Our room was probably previous garage or something similar. It doesn’t have AC as it is said on the booking site. Mosquito nets are broken. Walls in the bedroom are little bit moldy. But for this price it is just fine.

Nos entregaron la habitación con un bastoncillo de los oídos en el suelo. El lavado estaba taponado con papel higiénico y al mínimo uso se convertía en una piscina.

Majoitus hyvällä sijainnilla, avulias henkilökunta ja siistit huoneet.

We had a wonderful stay at this part hostel, part homestay. Hosts were really friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and tasteful. Value for money this exceeded my expectations. Location wise this is right in the middle of everything you want to be in Hiriketiya, close to the beach and next to plenty of restaurants.

We had a tiny panic moment arriving late at night finding the door of homestay locked and having no key to open it. But there was still staff at hand to quickly help us out. It turned out the doors wasn’t locked, but just a bit stuck. 😅
