We really liked everything. There are really a lot of animals on the hotel grounds. It's beautiful, clean, and has everything you need. The staff is very friendly.

1.There is a slight problem with switching the water, sometimes it is too hot, sometimes too cold. This could probably be easily fixed. 2. And unfortunately, there's no restaurant or cafe within walking distance. But you can cook everything yourself by buying ingredients in advance. Everything else is perfect. An ideal beautiful place, I want to come back again.

Na een zeer vriendelijk onthaal werden we naar ons huisje gebracht. Helaas viel het weer iets tegen, waardoor we geen gebruik hebben gemaakt van het zwembad. Het is een prachtige, rustige omgeving. De laatste km's naar Benka toe is gravel, maar wij vonden het zelf goed te doen. Je wordt wakker en de impala's en zebra's staan op het gemakje in de tuin te grazen. Het ontbijt was goed, maar in verhouding wat duurder. Wel heerlijk verse jus en versgebakken broodjes. Goede tips gekregen voor restaurants: The Velvet Monkey en House of fire. Alle 2 aanraders wat betreft gezelligheid, sfeer en heerlijk eten voor een prima prijs! Er is ook genoeg te doen in de omgeving: we hebben een leuke fietstocht gedaan in het Mlilwane reservaat, maar ook de cultural village bij Mantenga is leuk om te bezoeken. De auto stond 's morgens tot 2x toe te blinken na een wasbeurt.

De vloer van de bovenverdieping waar de kinderen hebben geslapen kraakte wel heel erg. De badkamer was ruim, wel eenvoudig, maar functioneel.

I had an extremely disappointing and stressful experience with this hotel, and I strongly advise others to be cautious before booking. We specifically booked a room advertised as having three beds. However, upon arrival late at night (around 11 PM), we discovered the room only had two beds, despite being three adult men. When we raised the issue with reception and asked for a solution or an extra bed, we were told that no additional beds were available because they had all been allocated to other rooms. The situation became even worse when we requested to speak with the manager. He spoke to us over the phone in a very dismissive and unprofessional manner, essentially telling us that there was no solution and that we could “take it or leave it,” fully aware of the late hour and the difficulty of finding alternative accommodation. Left with no real choice, we decided to proceed with the stay and arranged for one of our friends to look for another hotel. At that point, the manager instructed the receptionist to take a copy of our credit card after payment, which we found highly inappropriate and concerning. It felt as though we were being treated like scammers. When we refused, he escalated the situation further by asking security to remove us from the property. This forced us to call the police. Only after that did he change his stance and allow us to stay without copying the card, asking instead just to process the payment normally. This level of treatment is completely unacceptable. As frequent travelers with a high loyalty level on booking platforms, we have never experienced anything like this. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and aggressive behavior made this an incredibly negative experience.

The road to resort was to bumpy.

Ontbijt werd heel schattig gebracht bij de lodge, hele mooie omgeving met veel loslopende dieren zoals zebra’s. Ook was het zwembad perfect.

De weg naar het verblijf toe is niet heel chill, ook kinderen die bij de brug bedelen was geen fijn gevoel. Er is geen restaurant aanwezig. Ook waren er geen bedjes bij het zwembad.

Prachtige omgeving. Helaas waren wij daar maar voor 1 nacht maar je kan je daar zeker 3 dagen prima vermaken.
