Family run business they let us use the room early to get ready for a wedding. Very accommodating , room lovely walking distance to centre 5 min walk very central. Parking outside front. Will return again. Good breakfast.

The guest house is located near the town centre and well within walking distance of shopping, pubs etc. The breakfast was piping hot served on heated plates. The breakfast offerings are good, ranging from cold cereals (no oatmeal) to full Irish breakfast or eggs cooked to order.

The bed was soft and spongy. It might be time to upgrade. There is no on-site parking despite what the website says. However, we were able to snag one of three on-street parking slots in front of the guest house, and we were provided with a "parking pass" to display on the dashboard of the car. This worked fine for us. If the guest house is fully booked, getting a seat in the breakfast room might take some time. Be prepared to wait during busy seasons. We visited Westport in mid-May. The weather was cool and the heat in the rooms is centrally controlled and operates only from mid-evening to early morning. Thus, it can be chilly in the rooms.
