Quinta Janelas do Vale

The property is exceptionally clean , across the whole house including the kitchen , private bathrooms and the one on the ground floor . The beds and pillows we found really comfortable and the room/house smelt really nice . It’s very nicely designed and decorated . The kitchen I think should be advertised much more because it is SOO good , one of the most well stocked , designed and usable kitchens I’ve stayed at , which makes me think it needs to be advertised more . The dining room is very nice and has a television , actually nice coffee from the coffee machine and nice teas . Outside is beautiful and the view is exceptional.

The television in our room we couldn’t work properly , and we’re pretty tech savvy so we think it was broken in some way . There’s not anything around , nearest supermarket is about a 20 min drive away so keep that in mind . We stayed for only one night and the next day our flight wasn’t till much later than check out so we of course moved all of our things out of the room at check out and put them in our car and then we sat by the pool for a bit ( which I assumed would be okay as I have done this in many other places before ) but we were sort of kicked out not long after which is a shame as we really were not in anyone’s way , just trying to prevent showing up to the airport 7 hours early . Whether this was because they had an event or what I’m not sure , but keep in mind you may be asked to leave the entire property ( not just the room , and including outside ) at your check out time . Also the pool could do with a clean , lots of debre in the bottom and surface . Leaving a net by the side would be a good idea so even guests can sweep out some of the bugs that fall in .
