Great rooms - cool, dry with hot shower and good water pressure. Really nice staff and diligent room service with fresh towels every day. Breakfast at the beach was great, but the choices and portions were limited. Wifi was also good. The pool was warm and large. Sunsets were pretty cool on this side of the island.

Unexpected and very noisy construction without apologies from the hotel (a word or drink voucher for the inconvenience would be nice). The pool wasn't always crystal clean - especially if you come with kids as we did. Also it's one of the worse beach locations on the island - not so clean or maintained and not as good snorkeling as on the other side of the island.

Fantastiskt läge precis vid havet! Vi snorklade precis utanför hotellet och såg stora sköldpaddor och otroligt fin marin miljö. Hotellet är ett dykcenter. Stora fräscha rum.

Man var tvungen att ta häst och vagn från hamnen för att ta sig till andra sidan ön med stora väskor. Vi tyckte inte hästarna såg ut att må bra eller trivas i att dra tunga vagnar…

Heel fijn verblijf gehad! We hadden wat problemen met transfer en zijn daarbij echt geweldig geholpen door het personeel. Locatie was prachtig en alles was goed aan te lopen.

Goede plek om te verblijven, zeker als je wilt duiken. Fijn als je last minute iets kunt regelen. Goede begeleiding bij het duiken gehad. Fijn zwembad (ong 20m) Ligging aan het strand.

Ontbijt is uitbesteed aan de buren. Keuze is beperkt en het wachten duurt soms lang.

Das Blue Marlin liegt wie viele andere Unterkünfte direkt am Meer. Gili Air ist klein, man kann die Insel locker zu Fuß umrunden. Außerdem kann man überall für kleines Geld alte, klapprige Räder (Eingang) mieten. Das Personal im Blue Marlin war sehr nett und hilfsbereit, allerdings waren wir nucht zzm Tauchen gekommen. Soweit wir das mitbekommen hatten, war die Tauchbasis sehr professionell ausgestattet.

In der Unterkunft war alles ok, allerdings ist natürlich auch auf so einer kleinen Insel das Gefälle zwischen arm und Tourist mehr als deutlich. Man sollte die Pferdekutschen meiden, wenn möglich, reine Abzocker. Dummerweise sind aber auch die kurzen Verbindungen zwischen dem Hafen und den Unterkünften mit großen Taschen oder Rollkoffern nicht sinnvoll zu bewältigen. Also, feilschen....
