The shared/main space is beautifully decorated and the owner is very friendly.

I wish I could give a higher ranking, the owner is very friendly and helpful, but unfortunately I did not feel very good in this guesthouse. The shared space is really nice, beautifully decorated (it’s also because I saw these pictures I booked a room here) but the room itself was almost awful. I booked the smallest room, so I knew it was going to be small, but it was almost claustrophobic. I had no room to put my luggage, no space to hang clothes, the bed was just a mattress on the ground. There was only the blanket itself and a sheet to protect the mattress, so it felt as if I had to bring my own sheets. The room was not cleaned very well either, the floor was filthy and there was still some tooth paste on the washing-bowl. You only get a few small bathing towels (which are changed daily though), there are not a lot of amenities. Only soap and shampoo. No water. Breakfast was very basic, only toast, jam, butter, cereal and coffee. You have to do the dishes yourself. There’s no elevator. I would not recommend this guest house and will choose another guest house when coming back to Gyeongju.

i feel bad not leaving an overly positive review, but sadly i am travelling south korea right now and this has been the least enjoyable location so far. The shared space is okay, and although bottled water is not provided there is a water machine so you can fill your bottles and a microwave to cook food. I also found the pillow in the bedroom very comfortable. Gyeongju was the most expensive area for accomadation that we are staying in our 1 month trip, so this hotel is on the cheapest end for the area - main tourist attractions are 20-30min walk away from hotel so its a decent location and the bus stop is near (altho buses are way less frequent than citys such as seoul/busan etc). You will be fine if you want to stay here just a night or two, but i think there will be better options. we were able to check in on arrival at 1.30 which was great

the biggest issue was that the room did not feel properly clean, there was heavy orange staining in the corner of bathroom, and visible dirt on the walls of bathroom, and the cuboard which stores the towels was super sticky along the bottom. the mirrors were also very visibly dirty. I think the place would just benefit from a good deep clean. our shower did not go hot it stayed luke warm to cold the bed is on the floor which was a suprise, and the bed only has a sheet on it to lie on and the bedding had little hairs on it which just made it feel unclean. towels provided are only hand towel size there is no storage/anywhere to put bags or clothes, very small room with an oddly large size fridge. space could be far better used if they put some racks off the wall, or put the tv on a set of draws or something rather than just a small tv stand which takes up a lot of the minimal space in the room breakfast is toast and cereal although this place is newly opened it feels quite old and theres visibly quite a bit of damage/sign of use

It is close to the hot spot . Comfy to travel. price is sweet to stay. the boss is kind and nice hospitality.

The facility in the rest room should be modeling

The lady who works there is very kind and accommodating. The location is also great- close enough to the popular sites but not so close that it loud. The bedroom was very clean.

The room is very basic. I was sharing with another traveller and there was no privacy between us. Luckily we got on very well but it could be awkward for some. I think it would be a good idea to have some curtain to cover the bottom bunk.
