The property is beautiful, very well kept. It is full of plants and flowers, which is a bonus because the rooms have a small patio where you can have breakfast and dinner, and the surroundings are great. The food is exceptional, and very big portions. They also offered to help us with the tuktuk, very helpful. The family is very welcoming, happy to help with anything.

We chose Priyavimana for the great rating - and the reviews didn't lie! The accommodation is clean, the garden is beautiful, the family is very sweet and helpful, and the breakfast is huge, tasty and every day a bit different! It was also possible to order homemade curry for dinner, which was a bit pricey (2200 lkr per person), but freshly made just for us when we arrived, and a huge portion again. Wimal pick us up from the train station and also brought us to the bus when we needed. He also took us to Pidurangala Rock for sunrise, where he waited for us and took us to Dambulla Rock Cave after with his tuk-tuk. All the tuk-tuk rides were fairly priced (the pickup was actually free). We booked a safari trip through the family, and we really appreciated the guide understood we'd rather see fewer elephants than hunting them down with tens of other cars. As a reward, we had a beautiful elephant family with a little baby just for ourselves. :) PS: The room without AC with the fan was absolutely ok!

Stanza semplice, pulita e giardino meraviglioso. Ottima colazione. Una sera abbiamo chiesto anche la cena e ci è stata servita nel nostro giardino in modo impeccabile. Cena squisita e abbondante per pochi euro. Consigliatissimo.

Extremely nice family running it, pure hospitality

Superbe! Au calme, dans un magnifique jardin, très bon petit déjeuner ! Ils ont un tuk tuk et vous emmèneront/chercheront partout (avec supplément) et peuvent vous réserver un safari pour voir les éléphants !
