Fantastic visit, family very helpful with anything, food is tasty, helped with all questions, the owner drive us around the city and surroundings, you can negotiate the price and come up with a route you like, top stay

I stayed in the small room but i had everything what I needed. It was super clean and the family whonits running this place its super nice. The garden its very nice and the breakfast was delicious.

Lovely host who helped us extensively with all our needs. In the cabins the garden view is nice. Fine breakfast. Good place to explore the cultural triangle of Sri Lanka. Sigirya close by

The villa feels boxed-in and not connected to the garden with no windows on the garden. There is no kitchen and no utensils in the kitchen. Cabins are a bit primitive.

We stayed in this lovely home for two nights and I think that this was my favourite stay in Sri Lanka. The hosts are fantastic people, friendly and helpful and always with a smile. The rooms are simple but have everything that you need and have a lovely terrace within the beautiful gardens. But best of all is the food. We had breakfast and dinner on both days and we were served a selection of home cooked, Sri Lankan treats that were delicious. All together a fabulous experience that I’d happily pay more for.

There was nothing to not like

We were completely satisfied with everything. We loved the environment with all the greenery and flowers. Since we traveled by car, secure parking was important (falling mangoes and coconuts, animals, etc.), but there was no issue as we could park in their private yard. The breakfast was very delicious and plentiful. :) On request, we were provided with dinner, and if we mentioned what we wanted to eat, that was also arranged (we absolutely love jackfruit curry ;) ). The room was a comfortable size and equipped with air conditioning and hot water. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and since we spent an Advent Sunday there, they helped us prepare the traditional decorations for the occasion. We had many conversations, and they truly did their best to assist us in every way possible. This wasn’t our first time in Sri Lanka, and they perfectly embodied the hospitality, helpfulness, and kindness that the island is known for. Since we spend some time here every year, we’ve found yet another place where we’re sure to return.

We didn’t find anything we didn’t like, and it’s a perfect value-for-money accommodation that we can wholeheartedly recommend to everyone.

The family are amazingly hospitable - Mannikey’s cooking was great!! Very friendly and helpful.

More power points in the room and WiFi maybe?

Dinu and her parents were so sweet and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and they went above and beyond to help us. We checked out at 5 am, but they had breakfast takeaway ready for us.
