Valentines Hermanus

I loved the attention to detail, freshly ground coffee, rusks and a Ferrera Roche (although we gave it a skip due to strict eating plan), milk in the fridge, fresh roses(!), face cloths. AND a lovely Welcome sign at the front door with our names on!

We liked everything!

The property is in a quiet area of the town with private secure parking and wifi. The check in was pleasant and efficient, and the room fulfilled our ever need.

Lack of back up in the event of load shedding, although the owner prepared hot water for drinks if needed. The property does sit quite some way from the main areas of town, therefore reliance of transport is required if you wanted to go out for an evening.

WE like the very warm hospitality. We love all the special treats on our beds, the fresh roses, the rusks, tea and coffee and milk. It feels like home.

We do understand but we miss a window in the kitchen area

Everything😀The gorgeous apartment, the best shower I’ve had for weeks, spotlessly clean with upmarket fixtures & fittings & the amazingly thoughtful attention to details. Even though we were self catering, Greg & Helen had made sure that we had tea, rooibos tea, coffee, milk & sugar available as well as a lovely packet of rusks to have with our morning coffee. They had thought of everything including plenty of rechargeable lights & the latest Eskom load shedding schedule. So thoughtful & very helpful hosts. Excellent recommendations for places to eat etc. A real find. Also a lovely bunch of fresh flowers in the room to welcome us. They thought of everything.

The only downfall is that there are no aircons so it gets a bit stuffy
