Value for money perfect for a stop ang go!

NOTHING.

There was no hot water, there was hardly any heating (it was -2 °C outside), everything was dusty and dirty, the furniture is ancient, the bed is uncomfortable, the bedsheet was more like a tablecloth. It's an absolute ripoff. This place shouldn't be allowed to operate as a guest house. It shouldn't be allowed to operate at all.

Basic amenities - it was okay. Recommend for people with a car and decent for 1 night stay.

I have made the reservation via Booking for my girlfriend and myself. We have arrived between 19-20pm tired but worst surprise : owner informed us the price is 10x the original as they made some mistake on Booking. Asked him to find solution as we were willing to pay more but not 10x more. No flexibility! Asked him to show the room to us to decide. Very poor quality furniture. Old devices. Asked him to leave us 10 min to decide if we want to stay or find something else. He said we can’t stay in room for 10 min. Go to reception and decide. I had found other hotel for better price and breakfast included so we left asap. Customer service is 0. Flexibility 0. Not recommended at all.

Convenient location with hourly buses stopping almost opposite to the centre of Budapest. Took about half an hour. A nice restaurant just a short walk away. A very relaxed atmosphere in the upper floor of a ceramic centre. The family were helpful and went out of their way to help me deal with a broken down vehicle. I enjoyed my unexpected 5 day stay and would return if I ever revisit Budapest
