Ferndale Lodge

This was a brilliant place to stay, can’t speak highly enough of the location and how accessible it was. Staff were really friendly upon arrival and suggested things to do in the area

There was really nothing to moan about however the room was cold at times, our room was on the third floor of the property so completely understandable but the rooms radiator just took a while to heat the room up

Very comfortable and convenient, generous with tea bags and milks - you can get your own refills as needed. Cafe Altitude couple of doors down great for breakfast. Rob very helpful and looked after my luggage on last day

Great location in the centre of Ambleside. I needed a dog friendly room and this was ideal as it is a separate property behind the main guest house with its own entrance. A Parking permit is provided for the car park next door and other car parks in the area. The owner Rob was very helpful.

Rob was an excellent host and was super friendly and accomodating. The room is very clean and well put together, and the location is close to all the amenities restaurants and pubs in central Ambleside.

The room is on the smaller side, but this was expected and not a problem. Could be a bit cold at times but this is just dependent on the weather!

Very friendly host great location.

No complaints would definitely stay again.
