Friendly host and comfortable facilities. We appreciated having off-street parking for our motorcycles. The area felt safe and was very peaceful.

We had to hunt around for something to wash the dishes. It might be helpful to have a 'one-pager' on where things are located and how the host would like the place left before check out.

- Really lovely host, super friendly even after we were later than expected, gave us a great dinner recommendation - Some nice extras like bottles of water/milk, good hot chocolate powder - Basic cooking utilities (microwave, kettle, toaster, utensils) - Private parking spot on the property, but plenty of parking possibilities right in front of the house if needed as well

- It was quite warm inside on a hot day, but we had a fan at our disposal - Matress was a quite soft (but that is personal preference)

Good selection tea/coffee and fresh milk. John was very friendly and helpful. Location handy for Theatre, cinema and restaurants in Kerikeri also close to a very good farmers market, food and crafts

Room was rather compact and there were no reading lamps.
