Sweet and beautiful bedroom

location, proximity to stuff including JHU, ability to enter/exit at anytime was great.

The table and chair in my room was an afterthought. The fan couldn't be turned off without the light also being turned off. The bedside lamps weren't plugged in and could not be plugged in. The single-use towel was cheap. The toiletries were not clearly marked as shared vs not shared. Most importantly, the bathroom advertised as private was in fact not private. It was shared by SIX ROOMS.

Huge bed, clean building, plenty of amenities. Most of all great price :)

I think there might be mold of some kind somewhere. I’ve stayed at another property owned by the same group before, and seem to have caught the same illness as the last time at stayed at one of the properties.

Obviously amazing value for the location. I stayed in room #5 at 3205 N Calvert St, for 3 nights, which was one of at least 6 rooms with a shared bathroom. Although there were at least 6 rooms in total, the house was mostly quiet and the shared bathroom was available whenever I needed it. The check-in was with a code and did not require coordination. Mike was responsive throughout. Reasonably well-equipped: The room has a closet with a handful of hangers, two sets of single-use towels, and there is a small wall-mounted hair-dryer in the bathroom, as well as shampoo.

Check some details with Mike before booking -- the listing includes a private bathroom but this was not available during my stay. As expected with shared bathrooms, not everyone has the courtesy to clean it after use.
