Nice bedroom next fells point

Booking pictures provided are not the room we recieved. The pictures were much nicer. Me and my teenage daughter arrive at the rental around 10:10 pm thinking it would be smooth sailing, but there was NO PARKING anywhere! I message the booking person to figure out where to park and they stated we don't offer parking and "find it yourself." Not knowing the area at all, having one way streets here and there and being on small streets this made things extremely difficult! We finally find an open parking lot after 45 minutes of searching, which we needed to pay $32 dollars for overnight parking. Also, this parking lot was 7 blocks away from where the booking was!! So me and my teenage daughter walk in the dark to the rental which was nerve racking due to not knowing the area and having a lot of cockroaches crawing in the streets (didn't know they could fly)!We finally make it to the rental (around 12:15 pm) thinking all the bad is behind us and exhausted, but we were sadly mistaken! When we open the door we are hit with a nauseating smell of something like curry and heat! At time of booking (read very fine print the kitchen was listed as shared). Kitchen had food on counters and floor, dirty dishes in the sink, trash full (smelled), and bathroom was not clean. Bathroom also provided no TP (thank all that is holy I had flushable wipes). Again, bedroom was not images provided in booking, one pillow case was dirty/stained, and bed squeaked with slightest movment. The room at least provided an AC until that cooled the room in almost 2 hours. Air was obstructed by TV that did not turn on. Unable to move TV due to being bolted to wall. We asked for late check out since we got in late that morning and the booking rental person said that was okay, that's a positive. However, we were awoken by 2 loud door slams at different times around 7 am with loud talking (room was by front door).

It was nice there were kitchen facilities. The bedroom was quite large. There was a private bathroom as part of the room. We were in room two.The AC worked well.

The carpets up the stairs and downstairs were filthy and musty/moldy smelling. The room was not very clean nor was the bathroom.

The room was disgustingly dirty, full of spiderwebs on the ceilings and accumulated dust and dirt on the furniture. Moreover, the room does not have a private bathroom as is stated in the description, and the one downstairs where our room was didn’t have a shower. To go upstairs we should have used the stairs that were even more disgusting than the room, full of stains and accumulated dirt. For all these reasons, we decided not to stay in the room (and look for an alternative accommodation) and I claimed for a full reimbursement. To date I did not even get an answer from the owner.

Nice area, house in good condition

Not like promised: there is NO seperate bathroom per appartment - have to share on shower with all the people. Bed very noisy, kitchen is there, but nothing inside. All was very dirty and really nothing to clean up. No plates, no tool and fridge needs urgent to be clean up. Shower needs a renovation

*DO NOT BOOK!! Pics are deceiving Terrible, filthy and unclean..what they do not advertise is that this is a shared house. This kitchen is shared by multiple strangers. The room is a closet turned into a room with a TV. The bed linen looked like they haven't been washed in a decade. We were very disappointed and felt almost like we were tricked!! So we did not stay over; afraid to get bed bugs or something gross!! Additionally, we reached out to the owners/companies to try to get a refund or something and NO RESPONSE!!!

The property was very nice. The host/staff were extremely helpful. Excellent hospitality. Very comfortable bed, great shower, quiet setting. Nice neighborhood with many food options within walking distance. Great value. Enjoyed it so much, extended my original length of stay. Thank you!! 5 ⭐!! Kris G--
