Avragonio is a picturesque, village-style property made of stone, offering a very authentic and charming atmosphere. The views from the property are absolutely stunning. The rooms are very spacious, featuring both a bedroom area and a small living room. The staff, who appear to be a family, were incredibly kind and welcoming. Breakfast was also very varied and enjoyable. A few practical things to note for future guests: Accessibility: There are many stairs throughout the property, which can be quite difficult when carrying luggage. Parking: There is no on-site parking; guests need to park in the village or at its entrance.

The design and furniture feel quite dated. The beds were not very comfortable, and there was a persistent odd odor in the room. While the rooms are air-conditioned, the units are quite small for such a large space; they were sufficient during my stay in June, but might struggle during the peak of summer.

We stayed here for one night and loved it. Everything was very clean and quiet, with great attention to detail. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were perfect. You can hear the birds chirping at night and get woken up by the rooster in the morning (if you leave the windows open). The owner is very friendly, and so are the staff. We’ll be back!
