Cavalli's Cottage

Beautiful and cozy little cottage, clean and well equipped. Great hospitality! My friends and I really enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation and friendly hosts. Kids enjoyed the cute kittens roaming in the lush, enclosed garden. Easy access to train station.

My fault as I should have read the instruction regarding payment...so as I couldn't pay with a card it took some time to sort. However, Amber did give me a lift to the cash line which was much appreciated. A card machine would be helpful.

Amber and Max were lovely - the cottage is very special with lovely thoughtful little touches like candles, extra toiletries, and Netflix for guests. It is set in a beautiful peaceful town with a gorgeous forest two minutes walk down the road and five minute walk to the gorgeous town of Bilthoven. I think they were the perfect hosts. I was so relaxed and happy there. The bed was so comfortable and Amber lent me her bike so I had a very authentic Dutch experience riding through the forest to my course.

Lovely host, very friendly and very helpful. Location was great, cottage was fully equipped with everything you might need.

Breakfast not provided due to misunderstanding. Clear pricing of additional cost of breakfast would be helpful.

We had a lovely stay at Amber's cottage -which is beautifully styled in a cosy and Nordic style. The kitchen is small but there's everything you need to eat in ; coffee was available (and the coffee cups are really nice:), the bed is very comfortable and there's a desk in the bedroom which was very handy as we had to work in the morning - and the wifi connection was great so we could have zoom meetings. The heating works perfectly and the cottage got warm very quickly. It's also very quiet and the location is excellent, with a local train that takes you into town (10 minute walk to the station, 10 minute ride to Utrecht Centraal). (Also there was a change of plan with our arrival time but Amber did not mind though we took her a bit by surprise).

Nothing. If you travel with little ones, you'll just want to be careful with the stairs to go to the bathroom. Also Booking says that payment needs to be made in cash but Amber seemed flexible so you may check with her directly.
