Pension Michel - Villa Roche Bois

Det här boendet överträffade verkligen våra förväntningar! Värdarna var otroligt hjälpsamma och vänliga – de prioriterade om för att kunna städa rummet så vi fick checka in tidigare. Allt var mycket rent och fräscht, och vi fick till och med hjälp med vår tvätt. Cyklarna som fanns att hyra höll hög kvalitet, och middagen de serverade var riktigt god. Ett stort plus var att de tog hänsyn till allergier och anpassade menyn speciellt för oss. Vi har bara gott att säga – varmt rekommenderat!

The lady that greeted us and the lady cooking the breakfasts were really nice and pleasant. The breakfast is quite decent, and the rooms are spacious.

On our whole Seychelles trip, we had 4 different accommodations, all were self-catering except for this one, which works like a small hotel, offering Breakfast and other services. That being said, you would expect better customer service from a place like Pension Michel, when you compare to a self-catering accomodation. Well that was not the case. In all other accommodations we were made to feel at home, received messages previous to the arrival with important info and had nice and helpful workers, while at Pension Michel most of the interactions with workers where indifferent and rude to a certain extent. Other details: - Pension Michel is quite far from the ferries, if you are carrying big bags you will need a ride from the ferry, which Pension Michel provides for 150SCR which is about 10 euros. In our case they simply did not answer our messages leaving us to haggle with different providers who tried to scam us. - When you return to the ferry you will need another ride, another 10 euros. - The person that gives you the ride is quite rude, feels like he would prefer to be at home watching tv. - The room lacks cleaning, it was handed over to us dusty and with spider webs in the ceilings. - The lady at the reception asked us to pay the outstanding amount in such a rude way that it felt we where intending on escaping before paying (it was our first day) - Even their contact person for rental bikes treated me in a way that no one in the Seychelles had done. - To finish it off, and I totally understand that we are in the jungle and these things might happen, but we had a cockroach inside the shower on our second day, which one of the works removed but not without showing his discontent by the fact I was asking for help in between is YouTube video. The only single reason I’m not giving a lower rating is due to a single very nice act by the nice lady who cooks breakfasts. On our last day we had a ferry at 7:30, which meant we wouldn’t have time for breakfast.

Beautiful house and apartments in the middle of the nature. It is a bit further from the center so extremely quite. The garden is incredible with all the trees and flowers. The room was clean and they cleaned it every day, even washed our clothes for free. I felt better than in a 4 star hotel. It was really kind from the staff how they helped and treated us. The breakfast was excellent. If I would go there again I would choose this place again. Please keep the standard as it is now !

The rooms are very spacious and very clean. Breakfasts and dinners are tasty. The are aldo very friendly people at the pension(especially the marriage couple: a receptionist and a driver). We recommend the place!

The interior design was beautiful, with attention to detail evident throughout. Our bed was comfortable. We appreciated the in-room tea and coffee station, as well as the complimentary laundry service. Breakfast was nice, and the room was spotless.

My partner and I booked half board for three nights, but the dining arrangement was inconvenient—guests were taken to a restaurant 15 minutes away at 19:30 and brought back an hour later. On the first night, the meal was very basic and bland, with no menu choice. Since we didn’t enjoy it, we canceled dinner for the next two nights. Despite this, the owner still charged us €46 for meals we didn’t have, which we find dishonest. After check-out, we were allowed to use a shower, but to our surprise, it was an open-air shower in the garden, completely exposed, where anyone could see us. While the garden itself was lush and beautiful, we did not expect to be treated this way at a pension that charges quite hight rate for a stay. This felt rather indecent and unwelcoming, showing little hospitality towards guests once they had checked out. Overall, the experience left a bad impression, and we wouldn’t recommend this place to those expecting fair treatment and proper guest care.

Breakfast was super nice ! The place was super cozy and beautiful, they were very flexible and open to help for example with the renting of bikes and picking us up from the ferry place with a buggy for a reasonable price. Very happy to stayed there .

Wir konnten unseren Aufenthalt genießen. Unser Zimmer war im Erdgeschoß, sehr geräumig und stets sehr sauber. Die Terrasse war direkt vor unserer Türe und bot einen Tisch und zwei gemütliche Lounge Stühle. So konnten wir gemütlich Abends draußen verweilen und tagsüber lesen. Morgens wurde das Frühstück direkt auf unserer Terrasse serviert. Man kann zufuß zum nächsten kleinen Supermarkt spazieren oder sich Fahrräder ausleihen. Diese waren allerdings sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Der nächste Strand ist zwar Source d'Argent, aber man muss Eintritt bezahlen. 150 SCR pro Person und Tag. Daher muss man etwas weiter gehen oder wandern, um einen kostenfreien Strand zu gelangen. Es gibt einige gute kleine Imbisse in der Nähe. Ein neues Krankenhaus um die Ecke. Die Fahrt vom Hafen zur Pension Michel wird vorab von der Unterkunft angeboten und man im Vorraus reservieren. Je Fahrt waren es 150 SCR und es war überpünktlich und freundlich. Die Angestellten in der Pension sind sehr bemüht und freundlich. Wir können die Unterkunft gerne empfehlen.
