Easy self check-in. The bed was clean and comfy. The kitchen spacious with a good gas hob. The location was good, central within walking distance to the town for a great breakfast at Toast.

The bedroom wasn't overly clean with noticeable human hairs on the floor. I paid extra for my own bathroom but sadly I did not want to use it as there was a blue substance throughout the sink and shower unit. I only used the toilet and then the sink to brush my teeth. I did contact the property directly in the hope they may reimburse me for the upset and allow me to write a more positive review but unfortunately they made excuses for the blue substance claiming it is a stain (it is not a stain) and have offered me nothing by way of compensation. The kitchen, although a little grubby, was acceptable as I appreciate it is shared but did lack a decent kitchen knife and there were no forks in the draw or on the dryer. I don't mind staying in low budget accommodation at all and have done so many times but I do expect things to be cleaned properly and if there is an issue then I expect a better standard of customer service. I run a lower end budget accommodation myself via and I would never dream of expecting my guests to be ok with this standard. I would be embarrassed to say it is acceptable even on a low budget.
