Guesthouse Villa Diana

The host is very nice and very welcoming!! She welcome us with a home made cake, it was so delicious. She made coffee for us in the morning that was so lovely. The room is very nice and confortable, you also have access to a kitchen.

The bed was very comfortable, was in a quiet area. Nice outside space to sit. Local amenities were very close.

The Bathroom was very dated, the shower cubicle was very small and there was a smell of damp if you left the bathroom door open.

We loved the cleanliness of the place, the huge kitchen, there was plenty of space to spread out and relax. The bed was comfortable, the room was big enough. The best part of the stay was the staff who made us feel completely welcome. They made us espresso coffee everyday, which was a welcome surprise. The guesthouse is quite high up the mountain in Makarska, so you get fantastic sweeping views of the horizon and the best seat in the house for sunset.

Nothing we didn't like at all. Be aware the hill up to the property is very steep. The wifi was patchy from time to time also.

If you book here it should be clear that despite of it’s close to the sea the latitude is big so you need to be fit to walk up on the hillside. But it worth the panorama is great and Diana is so kind!

First of all the lovely lady who works in Villa Diana is outstanding. She welcomed us with a beer and cookies and we received a coffe and cake every morning. Despite being so lovely, she was very helpful as well. Our room was clean, our bed was amazing and the shower was good as well. Villa Diana is situated 15-20 minutes from the beach. I can highly recommend this place to everyone!
