Kaimai Sunset Bed & Breakfast

We stayed here after visiting the Hobbiton Movie Set. A lovely, comfortable room surrounded by a gorgeous garden. Brenda and Syd were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend Kaimai Sunset Bed and Breakfast to anyone travelling in the area.

Beautiful place and Brenda was amazing in having the place so nicely setup for the guests. Everything right from the bed to the space to the little play area outside for kids were brilliant. It was a rainy day so we could not try the Jacuzzi but I'd love to stay again!

we had some issues with the Internet throughout the stay - possibly because of bad weather but this was just a minor one as we thoroughly enjoyed the stay otherwise.

The perfect location to stay and we had everything we needed

I loved this place! it is my dream home, surrounded by greenery and hills. Our room was simple but spaciuos, clean and tidy with a big bathroom and a very comfortable bed. There is a small kitchen equipped all what is needed, the breakfast was very nice! even if we stayed for one night only, we felt like home! a plus is the hot pool iacuzzi in the garden, fantastic! the surrounding garden is so lovely and the cat is adorable! The BnB is 10 minutes by car from Matamata town and around 15 minutes from Hobbitton movie set.

Excellent location, gorgeous gardens, and Brenda and Syd were great hosts. Beer the cat was a great little holiday pet too 😆 Our main reason for coming was Hobbiton and it was so close. It was also just down the road from Matamata which had heaps of choices for food.

Everything. Spacious, clean, confortable. Included all the amenities needed. Breakfast with a large variety of products. I would recommend this place 100%
