Royal Guesthouse

The view is great. The pool was very clean . The bed was comfortable. The place is quiet and well maintained.

The breakfast could be better . It was so dry and minimal - It’s bacon , sausage and an egg. The rooms are not checked prior to guests arrival. I got to the room and the fridge was not working , the tv was not working I had to go to the front and let the ladies know. Fortunately I got another room it was good. It will be better to have an iron in each room than having to walk to the reception area to iron your clothes.

Only the air condition and the internet worked well. The location was good.

The Royal Guest House seems to have been a mega party place in the past and now should function as a hotel/B&B. As is, the place is highly unsuitable for this and little effort was done to make it working well. The bath room was appalling, the sleeping room was tiny, the living room was huge, but in part blocked with unused furniture. We never saw a manger of the site. The place was only run by service personal, but they did not speak much English and behaved rather strange. They were clearly not welcoming and constantly gave us the feeling that we disturbed them. Here some examples of how they worked: They would remove used cups and cutlery from the room, but would not replace them. They would produce breakfast, but there was hardly a relationship between what we asked for and what we got. Breakfast was greedy and of lowest quality. The room service would put all our things (without order) into our suitcases, close them and place them against the wall. We do not want that other people pack our stuff, and anyway, we do not want our things to be packed every day. We stayed for three nights in the same room. The room was cleaned only partially. Also, the swimming pool was dirty. We will certainly not come back to this Guest House.

I didn’t like that I was booked into a different guesthouse the week of my stay due to plumbing issues but they made alternative arrangements for me so I was no stranded. I would have loved to experience this guesthouse.

Breakfast was great and the location is great

Cleanliness, the showers and the bathrooms are not that clean, A little bit of improvement will do.
