"Unique place to stay."

In the heart of the city, but peaceful. Beautiful and unique place to stay. Coffee always avaliable.

Clucting at straws to find something we didn't like but the fridge was very loud so we had to pull the plug out.

"Very unique and special place."

Very quiet and unique place in the heart of Oristano. The room was very spacious, clean, beds very comfortable. There was coffee and snacks provided. Parking was very easy and location wise it couldn't have been better.

"Accommodation with a difference in Oristano"

Atmospheric building, immaculately kept & furnished. Lovely big airy room with large comfy bed. Appreciated the small fridge & lovely extra little touches like chocolates by the bed, bath scrubber etc. Sister Katherina was delightful showing me around with enthusiasm. Nice areas to sit & relax or watch TV (not for me). Lovely garden area outside, lounge & eating area inside. Was also appreciative of the on demand hot drinks machine which included hot chocolate rather than just coffee & also sweet snacks. Free bicycles were available to use during my stay. The sisters provide an excellent place to stay in Oristano.

"A Perfect sanctuary"

Ideal location and so peaceful and quiet. Shady place in the lovely garden to relax in was delightful Unexpected coffee facilities

Coffee machine wasn’t working quite right. But that was a very minor observation

Very atmospheric and convenient for centre of town. Coffee machine excellent.

Too many doors to lock and unlock. Better choice of snacks would have been good. Even better if breakfast had been provided.

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Santa Chiara Guest House and indeed Orestano."

Visually what a transformation. The outside 13 century building opened into a fully restored, modern guest house with many restored features, such as the massive ground floor doors and period structural archways. The “celles” as they are called are also well appointed with modern bathroom fixtures. The bed was spacious and firm. A breakfast room was provided for the guests, and provided multiple choices of packaged sweet buns and on demand cappuccino and espresso.

The distance in the building through 3 locked doors and up a flight of stairs to the rooms with luggage might prove a bit challenging for some people.
