Swiss Cottage Guest House

The location is amazing. Close to the beach, a shopping center with two supermarkets, great cafés and restaurants, the City Sightseeing bus stop and more. The surrounding nature. The room and bathroom were both very spacious.

The room was comfortable and clean but maybe needs a bit of an update. It was an adjoining room so I could hear my neighbors' conversation.

This place is unreal! Oodles of character, and Chris and Darwin are absolutely stand out blokes. Super well located, safe and lovely road, quiet yet right there in the mix.

Отличное расположение, в самом хорошем районе Кейптауна, минута до набережной, пляжа, ресторанов. Лучшее предложение за такую стоимость. Коттедж не новый, но в целом всё ухоженно, чисто, аккуратно, приятно остановиться. Очень доброжелательный персонал, идут на встречу если какие то трудности. Что очень важно в ЮАР и Кейптауне, полное чувство безопасности.

В номерах, которые на солнечной стороне в жаркие дни очень душно целые сутки, приходится открывать окна и дверь, что бы создать сквозняк. В нашем номере был вентилятор с увлажнителем воздуха, но он можно сказать бесполезен. Это самый большой и наверное единственный минус, который мы выявили. Жили неделю в начале марта, температура была от +30, некоторые дни до +45. За всю неделю мы ни разу не заметили, что бы уборщик поднимался к нам в номер. В конце поездки сами попросили его сменить полотенца после того, как он попросил чаевые за свою "усердную" работу)

The social area as in architecture was understandable and ok.

Great location. Friendly staff.

Bed was slightly dirty upon arrival (dust, hair, debris). Towels were crusty and cheap. Only one fork in the kitchenette. No AC.

The location is perfect. Host Chris supported by Darwin were very helpful and supportive. Thank you.

This is an old wooden property. We stayed in the attic room. Everything is old about the furnishings and room. The ensuite barely allows room to access both the toilet and shower. There's a steep awkward tight staircase to the room.
