Oak Manor Boutique Guest House

The property was incredible. The rooms were immaculate and furnished very tastefully. Vanessa and Audre went above and beyond to accommodate us and our needs. We had an early check out time (around 3am), low and behold, Vanessa was up with us helping us with our luggage, she even walked us to the gate and waited for our uber with us. 100/10 would recommend, best stay in Cape Town.

The guest house offers spacious rooms and self-catering units, which are suitable for accommodating my big family. Booked 3 bedrooms for family members, Rooms are generally clean, neat, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable overnight experience. The hostess was very friendly, welcoming, and her staff were professional.

The only disadvantage was that our rooms were not next to each other, but she chose them carefully to ensure that my family was as comfortable as possible.

The road was very noisy but one has to consider it is a city establishment.

A top sheet would be a recommendation especially in very hot weather and an aircon could have been welcome.

The Studio apartment had adequate space The bed was nice and comfortable There was adequate cupboard space The kitchenette was adequate

The shower door frame was far too low for me There were numerous mosquitos which bothered us during the night

Location and pool!

We had booked breakfast but informed we hadn’t. On closer inspection it was agreed that we had booked it and were offered a small refund!

The location is excellent and central - it's easy to get to most places in Cape Town. It's 2 blocks away from my daughter's house, which is why I love staying here.

I love this spot; the staff go out of their way to ensure my stay is comfortable and meets my requirements. It has recently been taken over by a new owner, so I look forward to seeing how this will improve the accommodation going forward!
