We stayed in the garden suite and the bathroom smelt damp for our whole stay and a leaky shower Whilst there was a wide variety of breakfast options the service wasn’t great/thing’s forgotten and didn’t feel as smooth as I would expect Small bed compared to other places we have stayed, would expect a 6ft+ bed for the price

Breakfasts were great. Views were great. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

We were amazed at the howling gale force winds coming off Table Mountain and the Twelve Apostles that descended on two consecutive days that we were there.

Wir hatten eine Seaview-Suite gebucht und hatten ein tolles Zimmer mit großer Terrasse. Herrlicher Blick auf Camps Bay. Das Zimmer war großzügig und mit einem tollen Bad. Der Frühstücksraum war sehr edel gemacht mit toller Aussicht. Frühstück wurde a la carte serviert, was viel gemütlicher ist als ein Buffet. Die Honesty Bar war äußerst vielseitig und toll bestückt mit fairen Preisen. Selbst eine eigene Garage gehörte dazu.

Zimmer und Suiten kann man immer nur nach Kategorie buchen, dabei sind sie alle unterschiedlich. Eine genaue Angabe würde das zu erwartene Erlebnis bestimmt besser garantieren. Wir wurden jedenfalls nicht enttäuscht.

EVERYTHING!! There is nothing you cannot love. I stayed at the property for one night- a reward to self after after a long work trip to Stellenbosch. From the moment I arrived everything was like coming home: the place feels luxurious yet homely. The staff take time to learn the residents names and it is like being with your home community. My room was the pink room- perfect for a solo female traveler- and with the most complimentary chocolate I ever got! The best part for me was a moment of fate- the owner was around for the weekend and I got complimentary champagne as we watched the sun set. I don’t know how people describe luxury but for me it’s the warmth in the people and the attention to detail. Living Hotel Lion’s Eye is all that and more.
