Living Hotel Lion's Eye

Location was great and stunning views. Atlantic room had a great 180 degree views and sunsets, large room and lots of cupboard space. Jacuzzi on balcony was nice.

Massive yellow Crane outside your balcony which ruined the view. Workmen woke us up every day at 7.30am building next door. Looks like it will be a large hotel being built for the next 2 years. Towels smelt bad. Breakfast was poor and very rigid with what you can order. If you ask for anything slightly different you’re told you’re naughty. We needed up going out for breakfast for our last 4 days. Plug sockets didn’t work, jacuzzi leaked water all over the balcony at high pressure. Lots of signs saying to save water but this room has a large jacuzzi tub, a massive bath which is impossible to fill up with the water pressure, 2 sinks and a toilet where the short flush wasn’t working.

Our Garden Suite was secluded and got sunshine until afternoon. The room was spacious and the bathroom was large. Breakfast was great and made to order. The Honesty Bar was well priced. Home made cake was offered on the bar every day and snacks were put out in the evening. It is a 15 min walk downhill to the beach and bars - get an Uber or taxi back up (80-100 Rand). Beautiful sea views from the terraces which were never crowded. All the staff made us so welcome and couldn't do enough to make it a place we would like to return too. The rooms facing the road could be noisy at weekends.

There was nothing we could fault. We knew that check out was 11 am but spent the morning in the sun on the terrace before being picked up.

We stayed in the Atlantic room which we highly recommend! Amazing view on the Atlantic Ocean, the room was spacious and it had everything we needed. Great breakfast and the staff were just wonderful! Thank you, Living Hotel Lion‘s Eye Team!!

Location was fantastic close to the beach. Sea view was lovely … Really comfy bed and massive!! Also likes the fact the hotel kept in touch all the time to check we were ok ! Very beautiful place

It was quite noisy in the morning - we could hear the staff cooking / talking at 7am - but it wasn’t too bad
