We felt really at ease, enjoyed the fact that we could use the Cooking area, washing area and the waterstation. The room was big, with a good functioning AC.

Its was a bit difficult shower, because the pressure/water stream was minimal. But this is a common problem in the Philippines.. And therefore we could use a small bucket to wash ourselves.

Spacious bungalow surrounded by nature. Friendly hosts. Walkable distance from the beach. Close to the forest for nice walks.

The accommodation is outside the city, which suited us, as we like peace and quiet in the evening. The bungalow is cozy, furnished like a "kubo" on the outside with all the amenities inside, including air conditioning, private bathroom and refrigerator. The bed is spacious and comfortable. The outdoor kitchen offers the possibility of preparing meals, including a barbecue. The accommodation is managed by a friendly couple who will help you with many things. The beach, which is surprisingly without many tourists, is only a 5-minute walk away. All the attractions of the island (waterfalls, caves, garra rufa fish, some beaches...) are within a range of 10-15 km.

Since the accommodation is quite far from the city and there is only a sari-sari shop nearby, renting a scooter is almost mandatory, but this is not a problem, as it is available at a fairly reasonable price.

Jenny and Klaus are really lovely hosts and did take great care of us. Nice coffees and teas with water every morning were placed on the balcony with always a lovely hand written message. You can feel they really want you to have a good stay. They have nice facilities to cook your own if you wish to. The gardens and the place are very well taken care of. Overall really enjoyed our stay in this remote area of Siquijor, away from tourists and crowds. The place is quite far from everything, which was nice in our opinion, Jenny and Klaus offered us a lift to the nearest place to rent scooters in Lazi and dropped us back there on our last day with our bags, free of charge. Truly lovely couple! Thank you for looking after us!

Unfortunately the internet connexion wasn't working during our stay due to a fault somewhere in the system.. they use starlink so it should be good once fixed. We were also sad to discover the state of the beach nearby which was full of trash and rubbish, truly broke our heart, but we found beautiful other secret spots all around that area which made the stay memorable. One last thing, the neighbours... Unfortunately the neighbours seemed to be having a "music" battle contest most days.. which were fairly loud and surely disturbing the peace of this quiet spot... (playing from the morning until 9 or 10pm in the evening) Although it is not Jenny and Klaus fault as they have tried to talk about the matter previously with them... I hope for them they find an issue to this matter in the future, as it was clearly affecting their daily lifes.

There is the beach nearby for snorchling and fishing. It was a pleasure to stay overnight. The lady was really kind :)! They have even the laundry service, what we appreciated. Thank you so much. 100% recommended.

Was a nice little place to sleep for the night. The hosts were very attentive,safety switch on water heater.
