Payag n' Kapitan, Experience pinubre living

So good, peaceful place. Nice garden. The breakfast so good. There are hammock in the room it's a good plus. It's a good place.

The staff is the best. We got unlucky with our timing on siquijor with the brown outs happening but the owner and his workers made sure we were taken care of. I love this island for the people the most. If you are expecting luxury go somewhere else. If you want to feel the hospitality of island life and an authentic experience without any of the glitz and glam stay here. The owner has another accommodation in San Juan higher in the mountains too that is wonderful as well. We ended up staying at both! Also breakfast was yummy and so was their coffee !

Honestly nothing they could control! Maybe a lot of mosquitoes.... But hey island life. We were surrounded by plants.

The place was very close to the port.

I found out and that was the reality that in this area every night and morning they turn off the electricity. None knows for how longs. If they turn off the electricity You left without fun, weather ( in the bathroom) . In this time is very hot and around You flight mosquitoes. It's very difficult to sleep and it's very uncountable.

The vibe and the simpleness

We really enjoyed our time in Payag n' Kapitan, the bungalow itself is adorable and the outdoor shower is very unique and cool. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. We loved the location, close to the port and close to the bay walk and town. We rented a bike through them, and that was a super easy and affordable option. Unfortunately, we did receive alot of rain during our time and the bungalow it's self is an open 'baliniese' style bungalow that has an open wall with lots of leaks in the roof- so we were rained in. The bungalow floor was wet and unfortunately our belongings did too. The toilet does not have a roof, so during the hours of rain- going to the toilet was a mission. The rain also brought alot of bugs, luckily the bed comes with a mosquito net. Except for this- we loved our unique experience here and we did enjoy listening to the rain. Would we come and stay again, absolutely.
