GBA brilliant spot! Very central and full of charm
ESGBNot fancy but good value for travellers on a budget. It's an old building so a little tired but it was clean throughout. The bedroom was basic but the bed was very comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. There was plenty of room to hang clothes, a table and chair, and a fan. The 2 bathrooms are shared between 4 rooms, one of which has a hairdryer. I didn't use the kitchen, but it was very well equipped. The location is excellent, with all the main attractions, restaurants and bars in the old town, just a short walk away. It was perfect for my needs and I would happily return.

Cleaning was not good. We got to the apartment at night and there were cockroaches in the toilet and some other insects on the floor in the room. There was dust under the bed. Upon seeing the bugs I reached out to the owner and told him we wanted to leave. He understood our position and put us in another apartment across the street - this was much cleaner and had no signs of bugs. All put together it was not a good experience to find the bugs, but since the owner arranged to put us in the other apartment we ended up having a good stay there.
DEThe room is quite central and suitable to start city exploring by feet; shops, cafés, restaurants, and some sights (Torres de Quart) are close. The furnitures are spartanic as shown on the pictures.
I had to share my "single use bathroom" with another room, that is a breach of the official description! The internet connection reached my room only weakly, sometimes even not at all, so I had to sit on the sofa in the "lounge". The whole apartment makes a less welcoming impression than on the photos, I did not feel comfy. Although one of the cheaper options in Valencia the price seems to high.
