The location was the best.

We are accustomed to a B & B serving breakfast on site. We had to go out of the building to a cafe next door. We are also accustomed to having having someone at the location to greet us, explain the keys and doors (there were three doors and three separate keys), and to answer questions and help with directions. We also needed help with transportation and there were communications issues with that. We only saw one person in three days, and she did help us get to a bus to get to the train station the day of the train strike and we much appreciated that. We were left to our own for our departure to the airport which was immensely difficult. Having remote hosts makes for extra challenges which make our stays much more stressful.

Loved the views from our bedroom. Great having early check in. The shared lounge and kitchen areas were clean and comfortable.

Small bit if an uphill walk, maybe 10 minutes only but added to the peace.. Slept 11 hours straight!

Nice, clean room. We had the mountainside view which had a great view of the vineyards on the mountain from the window. The common area, which is a large room with a table and kitchen area, has a great view of the town and sea. However, to enjoy it you must stand at the window as it is a high window and there is no balcony or terrace which would be ideal. We had to cut our stay from two days to one because of a train strike and the owner was very kind to refund us 50% for our missed day and very easy to get a hold of. Vernazza is crazy crowded during the day but not bad at night so a good town to stay in to enjoy at night when not so crowded. Also a great location as you can hike to the other towns in both directions from here, which I believe is the only one. We also were able to safely lock and store our luggage for the day while we hiked after checking out. You are also a close walk (up steps) to Ristorante La Torre which I highly recommend for sunset views! You also cannot miss getting a cannoli at Il Pirata which is only a few steps away. It’s like no cannoli I have ever tasted before!!!!

Lots of steps in the building to get to the attic room with luggage. But we knew this when booking and all good. The walk to the building is all uphill but not bad at all especially for Cunque Terre.

Good location, nice and big room with a sea view and a good size bathroom. Good coffee making facilities and biscuits every day. Very helpful and welcoming host 😊

Logement très agréable, grande chambre avec grand espace commun. Bien situé en haut de la ville avec vue mer. Bon contact avec l'hote.
