Alvas house

The place is great, even better than i expected. The stuff was absolutely great and super helpful, room was comfy, big enough for two and mini fridge in the room was definitely a plus++ FIBER INTERNET was great as i was a travelling for business also, so needed releable and fast enough WIFI. No problems with that at all. All and over super nice place to stay, HIGHLY recommend this place to anyone to stay even for longer period of time. Unfortunately i only had time for 2 nights, but i could easily stay there for a month! Beach so close, all the beast restaurants in area just walk away, its was just perfect. 10/10 stars to this place. Highly recommend! Absolutely nothing bad to say. Book and enjoy :)

Nothing, it was perfect. There was no mosquito nest if it is important for someone. We were there in the beginning of January and we didn’t have any problems with mosquitos.

The owners were very welcoming and really looked after all my needs while I was there. Felt like home away from home. The room was very large and clean and had a balcony as well to chill on. Really would highly recommend this place.

Amazing accommodation and amazing hosts! 2min walk to the beach and tucked away from road noise. Accomodation standard is the perfect mix of Western and Eastern world. Spacious common kitchen with everything you need and rooftop. Nice details with a private mini fridge in the room and earplugs for those bothered by the train nearby. The kindness of the hosts in unmatchable!

The bed was hard to my taste but the comfortable pillow balanced it out after a few nights.

Susanna and Tusharo (please excuse me if I’m misspelling the names :) were wonderful hosts. Welcoming and informative. It really felt like our own house. Spotless clean, equipped with everything a traveler needs, beautiful nature around, a garden well kept. Another great thing is the hosts really care about animals and Tusharo shared fascinating information about the connection local people share with the sea turtles (we got lucky and swam with them). The beach has some great surf. Would love to come back and stay more.

The best place we’ve ever stayed in Sri Lanka! I’ve traveled several times around Sri Lanka before, but I’ve never met such wonderful owners like these guys, they are really the best! Everything was comfortable and clean. First time in Sri Lanka I met a place where owners make a cleaning EVERY day, it’s fantastic!

Perfect place for rest; house has everything for cooking on very light and clean kitchen! I also liked the location of this house, it’s close to every shop and restaurant but a bit aside from the main road, it’s very comfortable, not noisy at all. Owners were so good, I still remember about them with a warmth in my heart!
