The room was amazing: spacious, very clean, with a large comfortable bed and a large balcony. The hosts and all personnel are helpful and kind, they sincerely care about comfort of their guests. While the town is rather noisy and crowdy, this hotel is like an island of calm except for the sound of nearby trains. The beaches and all the good places to eat are in walking distance. If you come to Hikkaduwa, don’t doubt to book this cozy hotel

Quiet and nice place, close to beach. The crew are caring and kind people. They cooked tasty breakfasts every day. Everything that we asked for has been done.

Too many things to specify but for starters this is luxurious accommodation. (The pics you see don't do it justice). The owners and staff are delightful and whilst you might be tempted by a sea view the beauty and tranquility here more than compensate

The property was in a lovely, quiet spot about a 5 minute walk from the beach/shops/restaurants. The staff were really welcoming and helpful, even making me a special gluten free breakfast.

Perfect stay in Hikkaduwa. This place is like a hidden gem. Peaceful, perfect location to relax and excellent service. Feel like home.

Weleges Place is a small family run hotel. The staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. We enjoyed chatting with them. They offered to walk us to the train station to help find it, made me herbal tea when I wasn’t feeling well, and organised transport to the airport. Breakfasts were delightful with something different offered for each morning of our four-day stay. The rooms are spacious, modest and nicely decorated. The bathroom is also very spacious and modern. Most of all, the building and gardens are beautifully maintained. We were glad we stayed here. It’s also on a quiet side street away from the main road and traffic. Just a short walk over to the beach and close to the main snorkelling area.

Perhaps some softer pillows, but I’m fussy about pillows.
