AULocated on the other side of the river but convenient water taxis are within 3 minutes walk. Room small and basic but all you need and fantastic value. Super friendly and generous host. You can park a scooter directly outside your room too.
The air con was only just ok.

ESSi quieres vivir una experiencia local es la mejor opción. El señor que lleva la casa es encantador, te ayuda con todo lo que puede, nos dejó hacer el check in antes, nos preparó desayuno y no estaba incluido, nos ayudó a saber a dónde ir, etc Como digo, es una experiencia muy local ya que está ubicado en el barrio viejo. Totalmente recomendable si quieres conocer la cultura.

INThe manager is a very kind and generous man. He went out of his way to drive me around the neighbourhood to introduce me to places to eat, purchase supplies and where to catch a small ferry across the river to the Kuching CBD and the museums. The new Museum of Borneo cultures is the best I've experienced in all of Asia. Staying in a house in a Kampung is special. Not like the usual hotel in a tourist part of town. Instead you find yourself in a friendly community with locals who are eager to connect.
