Staff went above and beyond to help my requirements, very helpful

It was hidden away down a small track, close enough to Auroville community and the town restaurants and shops. surrounded by natural beauty , hired a electric bike from the host which was very reasonably priced , ideal for travelling around

There were a lot of mosquitoes outdoors unfortunately,

Ambience, greenery, caretakers, food, beds, hammock, friendly and cute cat.

Mosquitoes, too many annoying dogs that make access difficult. Hot water issue, difficulty in paying since they only accept cash/UPI. Suggestion: please keep toilet paper in the bathrooms, please accept credit cards especially international

The room, the bed, the service and kindness of the staff

The booking presentation is very different from what it is really. It’s a little place. And there is a glass on the top of the bed that I slept. The light was on all night long. Must have a curtain on the glass for more darkness.

Location was good. Very quiet ambiance.

I booked this property looking at the pictures, however was aghast at the current state of it when I visited. Totally unkept lawns, unclean common areas, TV and lounge arec filled with inspects and residue, swimming pool uncleaned for days, staff that have too less training on hospitality. While the property is beautifully located and is quiet in ambiance, the maintanece is so poor They say breakfast is included and all they gave us was just one dish, the only alternate was bread! Totally not worth the cost of booking with breakfast. When we sat down for breakfast the sweeper women stormed in and started sweeping near us, we had to then inform her to sweep after we left. Such poor sense of hospitality. The care taker seems to be a new recruit and has no clue, keeps checking with the cook aunty for information. The cook aunty again seems to be unhappy cooking, she even told us she is not given any leave even if no guests show up. Our only suggestion to the owner is to bring back the old glory of this property. It's our wish to come back and experience it in it's True beauty.

The place is an oasis, a wonderful peaceful garden. Paul, the owner, is such a helpful and nice person, we had very good conversation and he helped us a lot with things beyond staying in his place. His staff are lovely people, breakfast was good and plenty.

The only disadvantage for us was that there was no anti-moskito netting on the windows, so it was at night difficult to open the window. But this is personal - we just like open windows better than aircon. Aircon, otherwise, was working perfectly.
