Lovely peaceful stay at a brilliant price. You really do need a car to get there easily, but once you arrive, the peace and tranquility are to be found. I especially loved sitting outside in the morning having breakfast overlooking the fields, such a beautiful, relaxing setting. The host was very welcoming and had thoughtful quotes around the house that I really appreciated. The communal areas are very comfortable and nicely kept. I stayed in the triple room on my own, and it was spacious with plenty of storage and hanging space. I could easily imagine it being perfect for a couple with a child. Overall I slept very well and felt very comfortable throughout my stay. The kitchenette facilities were very helpful too, perfect for making toast and cereal in the morning or having a takeaway in the evening.

Overall I had a great stay. The only slight confusion was that when booking on my phone, I somehow had the impression I was reserving an entire property rather than a guesthouse with shared communal areas. When I later checked the listing again on my laptop, the description was actually very clear, so for some reason it appears as whole property through the Booking.com filters. I also didn’t receive the check-in message the host had sent through Booking.com, so I was briefly outside the gate trying to find contact details before the host kindly came down to meet me. Most likely a Booking.com messaging issue. As I said already, the host was lovely, the stay was peaceful and comfortable, and for what I needed it was perfect.

Die Unterkunft hat eine sehr schöne und ruhige Lage. Die Vermieterin hat uns total freundlich empfangen und uns Tipps gegeben. Sehr empfehlenswert.
