The room was clean and adequately comfortable, and the view of the cute square from our window was a nice touch. The metro station was conveniently close, making it easy to access both the beach and the city, as the metro line runs extensively through both urban and suburban areas.

Communication with the host made the stay genuinely difficult. I never received the message with the building entry instructions. That could have been a technical issue rather than the host's fault, which I understand. However, the listed check-in window was 2–9 pm, and the host's message stated they could be contacted at any time, so I expected to be able to reach someone. On arrival, we tried to contact the host through Booking and on two different phone numbers for around 25 minutes with no response. We had a tour booked in the city centre and couldn't wait any longer, so we left with all our luggage and paid to store it in town during the tour. We eventually reached the host, received the entry instructions, and returned around 8 pm — only to have a very similar experience. The instructions said to call to be let into the building, but again, no one answered. After about 30 minutes, another resident kindly let us in. The next day, we were flying out in the afternoon, but based on the previous two interactions, I didn't feel confident asking whether we could leave our luggage at the property, so we paid for storage a second time. The lack of reachable communication — despite the host's own stated availability — made the experience stressful and expensive in ways it shouldn't have been. I wouldn't book here again.
