Palazzo Acquaviva

This place is very central but also quiet during the night. The room was equipped very tasteful and it was also very clean. The bathroom and shower was very modern. I arrived a bit later but Mrs. Angela, the landlord waited to hand me over the keys personally. I will definitely come back when I will be in Monopoli next time and can highly recommend this cosy place in Monopoli!

Our stay at this palazzo was very comfortable! The location in the old town is fantastic - just a few minutes' walk from the gate. It's tucked away on a very picturesque side street, and the hostess was very kind and helpful. Just a few steps from the beach and close to many bars and restaurants.

The bed was a bit squeaky, and the shower area was a little messy, with no door or curtain to prevent the water from getting everywhere. Plus, on one of the nights, we came back to a massive cockroach crawling across the floor :(

It is very authentic in the heart of the old city close to the beach, Harbour, all kind of bars and restaurants. Charming. A couple of Italian neighbors dropped by, so not used to tourists. The flat is well equipped and as it was in the “cellar” the door can stay opened and the locals tend to put chairs outside and even tables, so you could have a breakfast outside.

The only thing that could be better is the bed which is too hard, but this was a very common issue in most Italian hotels/pensions. The shower is tricky to use so some explanation is needed.

Absolutely perfect location, Very close to the beach and restaurants, yet in a Very quiet alley. Host was great, helped with everything and welcomed us into the Apartment. Very good contact, responded instantly on whatsapp. grocery shops nearby, open even sundays

No kitchen or cutlery, but there was an espresso machine and glasses + cheap biodegradable single use forks and knives available in stores nearby

The place was small but well put together. If you are spending a night or two, it is perfect. The best location, good AC

The mattress could be better, specially if you are sleeping with someone else. Not sure if there were blankets on premisses, but a duvet would be nice, especially when you have the AC above you. Another suggestion is to change the curtain on the small bathroom window, something to prevent lighting from coming in.
