Spacious room, easy to get in and out, great location and facilities and great value

Walls are a bit thin so bring earplugs.

Seascape is a contactless guest house experience that is essentially seamless. No staff onsite, just a combination emailed to you that lets you in. The rooms are classic guest house size, slightly bigger than a cruise ship cabin, and comfortable, including a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. The real bonus, however, is the full kitchen, including a washer/dryer, at no extra cost, and a dining room if you find your room too small to hang out in. Parking is free but a little problematic, threading the needle of the very crowded street to find an empty space. But all Penzance streets are like this. The apartment is just a few steps from the promenade, from a grocery store and from takeaway food.

No lifts for suitcases if you are a few floors up.

Reasonably quiet, not too far from the town centre.

Parking was awkward; I suspect more difficult in the summer.

Shower was more of a dribble than a shower, with the water running hot then cold. Dehumidifier in room needed to be on as room smelt damp when we left it off for the first evening. Noisy when other guests came & went due to the room being adjacent to the main entrance of the property.

A nice big kitchen to use

Cheap horrible mattress you could feel all the springs and the pillows were small and cheap as well
