No coffee station in room

Being close to the beach and being close enough to the Woolworths to be able to get amenities and have a cup of coffee. Having Ellen coming in every day to tidy up even though we did most of it ourselves.

No secured place to park our vehicles and also no tumble dryer in case of need and trying to dry clothes in overcast days.

A Little Paradise in Cape Town – Absolutely Recommended! I’ve stayed at this beautiful guesthouse several times now, and I finally wanted to take the time to write a proper review – because this place is truly special. The house combines stylish industrial design with a charming vintage touch, creating a cosy yet elegant atmosphere. The lush, wind-sheltered garden is like a little paradise, and the small pool blends perfectly with the surroundings. Everything is spotless and beautifully maintained. The location is fantastic – just a short stroll (less than 100 metres) from one of Cape Town’s most stunning beaches, with breathtaking views of Table Mountain. The peaceful neighbourhood is perfect for relaxing, yet Cape Town’s vibrant city centre and numerous wine estates are just a short drive away. It’s also an amazing spot for watersports, golf, road cycling, and mountain biking. I noticed some negative reviews that I’d like to address. One mentioned the location not being in the city – but this was always clear. This guesthouse is located at Sunset Beach, which is ideal for beach lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. If you want to stay right in the city, you should book a place there. Another review criticised the Wi-Fi, but I can’t understand why – I found it absolutely reliable and fast throughout my stay. As for the beds – comfort is always subjective, but I found them extremely comfortable and slept wonderfully, especially being woken up by beautiful birdsong in the morning. A special mention must go to Ellen, the heart and soul of the house. Her warmth and dedication make every stay unforgettable. Georg, the owner, is equally attentive and ensures every guest feels welcome and cared for. This guesthouse has become one of my favourite places, and I will definitely keep coming back. A huge thank you to Georg and Ellen for creating such a special place – I can’t wait for my next visit!

Friendly staff, clean, homely

Bed was very uncomfortable. We need double beds or queen size

The property is located in a prime location which also felt safe.

The stay was pleasant until an incident happened with another guest on the property. I don't feel the manner in which it was handled was fair.

Location and cleanliness , in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Will definitely be booking it again. Ellen the caretaker was lovely , and went out of her way to ensure we were comfotable
