The room and setting is private and well appointed. Garden looking great. Staff friendly and engaging!

Breakfast was not to my liking. Cold and you had to pay for your coffee. Sorry they can do better as this is such a good location.

I did not like the way they were supposed to meet us/ open the gate for us. No body answers their phone. When we reached the property, we had to look for somebody to assist us. Food was cold and breakfast not up to lodge standard. All linen and towels smell sour and no extra toilet paper was supplied, we had to ask for toilet paper.

The location and facilities were very good and the room had everything we needed

Would have preferred an in-person check-in (being greeted by someone) rather than a virtual one, which left us feeling like our visit was transactional rather than personal. We weren't sure where to go when we arrived and had to battle to find someone to direct us to our room. The standard of catering and service in the restaurant was disappointing.

Unbelievable location on the Orange River. Big clean room with Kingsize bed and En-Suite with huge shower and bath. Nice touch was the freshly baked bread with breakfast.

Dinner (lambshank) was good, not great. It was bland but I suppose it had to be like that to cater for all tastes. WiFi did not work and staff had to use their own data for connectivity. Small things like a loose toilet seat ring but otherwise a fantastic stay.

Beautiful location, good facilities in the room eg plunger coffee, small fridge and microwave oven. Lovely dinner. The electric blanket was a bonus

The pillows were floppy and unsupportive
