Everything about the place was first class. The view from our bedroom was outstanding . the welcome we got when we got there was great could not have better. THANK YOU . Will be going back again soon .

We have been travelling without stop for almost a year, mostly in Europe, and this was definitely one of our top 3 stays. The staff is amazing and cannot do enough for you. Naz, the manager, gives great advice on hiking.The breakfast was excellent. All of the rooms are stunning. We loved our apartment, but it didn't have the view and charm of the hotel rooms. The location cannot be beat if you wish to hike and bike in the area. They even did our laundry free of charge!

We should have stayed longer. (:

Location and privacy.

The setting is in beautiful gardens which were far more extensive than we ever imagined, and we were given permission to roam freely and explore. The view across the estuary was memorable, and most attractive in the afternoon and evening when the sun really lit up the toll bridge and adjacent hostelry.

I thought it was about 3½ to 4 miles to Barmouth but it was nearer to 6, but that was my error reading a map, not misinformation, and it made no difference as we would have used the car anyway.

The hotel, location and staff were all perfect 👌

Amazing breakfast- i had waffles with a cream, strawberries and blue berries. Amazing property with so many details eg coffee brewery in the room, great bathroom, balcony, comfy bed. Plenty space to park your car which we know can be tricky. 17 minutes walk from a pub George III. Really nice and helpful staff. Also Quiet area , we slept like babies.
