The complex is great with beautiful views, but water issues need attention - toilet dysfunctional, bathroom basin tap no water to wash hands or brush teeth. Blanket dirty and smelly. Requests not attended promptly, i.e., there was no kettle and tea, only coffee was available, and no milk person in charge brought kettle in the morning without tea requested. No help to get food ordered. I recommend Thokozani Shuttle services for anyone visiting very friendly he took me, to Eshowe dropped me in the yard of my family home, and even made sure I was at the right place. To be close to town center because I traveled by bus from Joburg had no means of commuting to places of interest, taxis are readily available with very friendly drivers and passengers. Being in an unfamiliar place had no problem going in and out. I met friendly, ordinary, willing people to point me to the right directions. I enjoyed commuting to different places I intended to see during my visit at Eshowe, Melmoth, Empangeni, Richards Bay, and the sea side. Except when it rained, had to be indoors the whole day and battled to order food. I suppose delivery problem due to the rain.

The price and little balcony and outside chairs. At least it was clean. A lot of what I didn't like could be fixed without breaking the bank

This accommodation is only suitable for brief emergency stops to recharge and freshen up. While it is advertised to have toiletries, none were provided. Although coffee ingredients were available, there was no kettle to boil water, nor was there any coffee creamer – and when asked, the staff stated they didn't have any. There was also only one spoon provided. The shower space is uncomfortably small. A significant issue was the lack of running water, preventing toilet flushing. The TV lacked a remote, and the bed was noisy, squeaking with every movement. Additionally, the entrance to the area is very steep and requires a large vehicle and advanced driving skills.
