"Great location, great hotel, great price"

We arrived late in the evening and Pete the proprietor was very welcoming, courteous and helpful. The place has a very authentic 'country house' atmosphere which was very enjoyable.

"Beautiful accommodation and location"

The breakfast was excellent, and we really enjoyed exploring Goathland, which is a beautiful village. A highlight for us was watching some steam trains arrive at the local railway station.

"The property was perfect for our walking holiday."

"Fairhaven country guest house"

The location is stunning and the Guest house is beautiful. Spotlessly clean and amazing views across the moors.Sarah and Pete are the perfect hosts. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning

"A lovely village from which to visit Whitby."
