We were told repeatedly not to bother with Aberdeen as there is nothing there. However, we had a lovely stoppover with nice friendly hosts. They are working on adding a new coffee shop, so I can only guess the place will be even better.

Our bed was a little too soft, but we can forgive that when everything else was so nice.

"We had a great stay in this oasis in the desert"

This place felt like an oasis in the desert. The hosts made us feel at home right away. There is a nice garden with little ponds to cool down the area and a nice pool to chill in. Everything is well maintained and well thought of. We had the biker tent and everything you need is provided (firefighters, wood, thongs grids gas stove fridge etc).

If anything, they don’t have a liquor license so you would need to bring yourself.
