I really liked the reviews and the look of this place. But unfortunately the check in policies left us very frustrated and we decided to leave and book another place.

I cannot tell you much about this place because we never got passed the gate. I'm not sure why, but this location has a very strict policy that before you can even get in the gate, you must prepay. But there is no one there to collect! I can understand why a host wants to make sure they get paid, but the policy here is so restrictive it make me feel like I was unwanted. I will detail exactly what happened. After booking through booking. Com, the App said that I would pay at the property. So we hopped back on our motorcycle and drove to the location. We had been driving all day in the heat, and we were looking forward to enjoying some relaxed time upon arrival. Instead we walked around and there was no instruction, only a key pad. Luckily, I had a South African sim card and was able to call the contact number. When she answered she said I had to prepay the reservation, and she said the only way was that the neighbour would come over and collect and then she would give me the code to drive in. She told me to give the neighbour 810 ZAR, I did this and the neighbour left. I messaged the host and she said I couldn't have the code because I pay the correct amount, she said I should have paid 1050 ZAR. ....... But she had told me to only give 810. Now she is telling me that she won't let me in until I pay the difference. I am very frustrated at this point. I told her that if she didn't want me to tell the neighbour to bring the 810 back and Cancle my reservation and I would go find a place that wanted me as a guest. I have NEVER, been treated like this! If this accommodation wants all of their guests to prepay, then they should allow the booking App to collect the money for them, or be on-site to collect.. With today's technology, there is no reason for this poor check in procedure. By the time we left this place it had been one hour, since we made the booking. One hour, we will never get back. What if it had been raining, instead of just hot!

The place is peaceful and clean, I recommend Krith guest house if you need some peace and quietness, we really enjoyed our stay. The host kept on checking on us to ensure that we are comfortable 🤗
