The Stables

Loved the location. The host was welcoming, and dogs were even more so. Decor throughout, and the place in general was stunning!

A small kitchenette would have completed this spot perfectly!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Stables. The kids and I stayed for one night, and we felt really welcome, comfortable and relaxed. Our host was absolutely wonderful too - we will definitely stay again in the future.

We loved our stay here. All the little touches made it special. From the fresh sourdough with creamy butter and condiments, yummy muesli and fresh yoghurt for breakfast with nespresso machine, to the comfy beds and beautiful linen and not forgetting the waterfall shower. Penelope is a lovely person and a super host and she was very kind when I accidentally broke a glass a spilt some wine on a carpet. Thanks so much, we will be back. ♥️

Penelope is really welcoming. The place is presented well. Comfortable beds. The 2nd room is decked out in custom made bunks to suit the whole family. It has a lovely outlook over the pool and to the countryside surrounding it. Soooo many books to immerse yourself in. You can come here and switch off from the outside world if you so choose to.

There were no kitchen facilities if you were looking to prepare any food - esp those who have little ones might need. Aside from that the place was fully stocked with glasses, plates, cutlery etc.

Excellent location for day trips. Stunning hill view. Pleasant and friendly hosts

There was little privacy as accommodation was very close to the main house and we had to navigate washing on the line to get to our front door. Early am each morning awoken by large noisy trucks driving next door. Only supplied breakfast on 1st morning. Had to ask for more. Were asked to put dirty dishes outside in a basket to be collected and washed each day but were left there until we departed. The grounds around where we stayed were untidy and full of weeds. On list of facilities it stated a hottub/ jacuzzi and bbq. none of which were there and the pool had a lot of sediment.

When we got here the place was amazing! The pools were very clean, the rooms were clean and the design interior of the house was marvelous. My friends and I were very sad that we had only booked it for a day and wanted to stay longer if we can. If we visit Cambridge again I will be coming back to The Stables

The blinds in the toilets were little see through, which wasn't very ideal

The location was excellent. Lovely fresh bread for breakfast.

Would prefer to have privacy from outdoors in the bathroom.
