The room was clean and bright. Air conditioning and Wi-Fi work great. There is a supermarket within a five-minute walk. I liked that you can check in in the morning when it is not hot. The owners did not respond to my message, but they still met me. The room is on the second floor. The owners of this house live on the first floor. They are a good Sinhalese family who themselves live very simply. We communicated a little in English and with the help of an online translator into Sinhalese.

AC was good, and the bed as well. The staff was very friendly, although communicating in English was not very easy. Private bathroom and simple kitchen a bonus.

The room smelled unpleasant, kind of like urine. Also the dead cockroach behind the bed (rather dead than alive though), and a very dirty fridge made me think of the cleanliness altogether.
