Very clean, felt like a luxury room. The kitchenette is very nice to have for preparing snacks and drinks. Very beautiful home.

We spent 2 nights here and had a great stay, would highly recommend if you're looking for a nice affordable place to stay in Hikkaduwa. The room and facilities were clean and tidy, the kitchen and dining area is a huge plus, and the large terrace area was the perfect place to chill and eat breakfast of a morning. We were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves, but there's only 2 rooms that will share the kitchen and terrace, so there's plenty of space for that. The host and his family were very accommodating and were kind enough to do our laundry for us free of charge, which was greatly appreciated. They leave you to do your own thing, but if you need anything they're happy to help. Location is good, only few mins walk and you're on the main road and the beach.

Warm-hearted and helpful staff. The accommodation had a really good sense of peace, as there was also a gate to the terrace at the own entrance. Plenty of storage space and a small own kitchen. Excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect. Owner and his family are nice people. Accomodation has great airco and wifi, fridge and small kitchen. Nice terrace where you can spend time just sitting and listening the nature and watching birds and other animals. It is 5 mins to the beach and city centre but it is sooo quite and relaxed place. We wanted to stay 1 night but we extended our stay for 4 nights.

Super lovely host and very helpful! The room was clean and nice. Well over my expectations considering the price.

We chose this place for the whole period of our vacation (17 nights). The family who owns this house - Nilan and Naomi - are super nice, friendly, open people, who are always ready to help. They live on the ground floor of the house, and another floor with four rooms is for rent. They can also provide you with a taxi from/to the airport (a very comfortable car). The house is located very close to the main street (with popular cafes, pharmacies, supermarkets, fruit and fish markets, wine stores, bus and railway stations) and beaches for swimming/snorkelling/watching tortoises (~5-7 min). Now there are two types of rooms in the guest house. Two rooms share a kitchen (with a fridge, cooker, kettle) and a terrace; and there are two other rooms with their own kitchen (with a fridge, cooker and kettle as well) and a terrace in each. All rooms are super clean, fresh and nice (comfortable beds, towels, toilet paper, fan, air conditioner, hot water); there is also a good WiFi so you can work easily. All rooms are perfect for an extended stay, so I highly recommend this guest house for everyone:)

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and the air con was great. It was great value for money. We also needed to do some laundry and the host did it for us for free which was really kind of him.

No toilet roll after we ran out so had to buy it ourselves. About a 10 minute walk to the centre which isn’t bad but if you don’t like walking in the heat it’s hot!

Perfect stay! Friendly staff, good working airconditioning. Hot water in the shower. The location is perfect! Loved my stay here, absolutely recommend this place!

One small advice: maybe change the light in the room. It's a bit too bright. A softer light will make the room more cosy 😃.

In a quiet area of the city, has outdoor seating area, fridge/kitchen available for common use, owner helpful in figuring out train and bus routes
