The Citadel Guest House

We stayed a few nights in the double room, and after our tour around sri lanka, we came back and stayed at the apartment. Both of our stays were impeccable.

WiFi doesn't work very good

The room was big, the facilities in room was excellent. The staff was polite and helpful.Everything was good and make an unforgettable lovely stay.

Calm and nice place

very low price. there was a refrigerator. the towel was clean. 3

i saw an insect crawl under the fridge. the fridge was not clean and there were ants. but when i turned it on, ants left after it got cold. the cups smelt very bad 🤢. there were ants in the kitchen, especially on the table, which wasnt so clean. it had ridges and there was dirt and did remains in them. not too many ants, but it bothers you when they crawl up your skin. mosquitoes could easily come in. again, not too many of them. they came because i had to keep windows open and there was no ac but thats typical of any room without AC. the patio was connected to the room by a door, and the patio was completely open on one side. which means when you close the main door, your house is still open (to animals and insects), luckily no animal came through.
